You can also control profile visibility and communication preferences in-app where available.
6. Children Privacy
Vync is not intended for children below the minimum permitted age in applicable jurisdictions. We do not knowingly allow unauthorized child accounts.
If you believe a child is using Vync in violation of age rules, contact us so we can investigate and take action.
7. AI Features
What data is collected for AI: User prompts, messages to the AI assistant, conversation context, and technical metadata (such as timestamps, device data, app version, and IP address).
How it is collected: Through user-entered content in the AI Assistant, as well as app and backend request logs.
Why it is used: To generate AI responses, prevent abuse and ensure safety, and to maintain service reliability and debug issues.
Who it is shared with: Information is securely sent to our backend processors and trusted third-party AI providers.
Retention and deletion: Prompts and responses are retained to provide the service securely. Users can request deletion of this data at any time.
Protections: Data is encrypted in transit with strict access controls. Our third-party AI providers are bound by robust protection commitments and Data Processing Agreements (DPA).
User Consent & Revocation: You must explicitly consent to use AI features before any data is sent. You can revoke this consent at any time and manage your AI data preferences in the Vync app by navigating to Settings > Privacy > AI Privacy.
