Anthropic co-founder Jack Clark told policymakers at the IMF–World Bank annual meetings that AI could substantially increase economic output if progress continues and new industries emerge. An internal company forecast discussed at the event suggested US GDP could reach $44 trillion by 2030, compared with just over $30 trillion today.
