Bricks Shatter Windows at Ohio Hindu Temple, Arrest Made
Around 1:30 p.m. in Richmond Heights, Ohio, unknown assailants hurled bricks at the Shree Swaminarayan Vadtal Dham Hindu Mandir, breaking windows while worshippers were present. Advocacy groups like the Hindu American Foundation called it a possible hate crime amid rising anti-Hindu incidents and shared surveillance video with the FBI and Justice Department. Police quickly made an arrest using the footage, drawing relief from community leaders who stressed that no place of worship should lack such security today.
