India’s Zorawar Procurement Is Moving Ahead With a More Protected Mk2. The Indian Army is moving ahead with its 354-tank Zorawar light tank requirement, with the first 59 tanks being taken forward through the DRDO-L&T route. The Mk2 is planned with upgraded frontal armour toward STANAG Level 6, stronger side protection, an Active Protection System and counter-drone capability.
