Two Tejas trainers, SPT7 and SPT8, have been fitted with Israel’s EL/M-2052 AESA radar and a refuelling probe. The next batch of 29 trainers from the 2025 order is planned to use India’s Uttam AESA and Swayam Raksha Kavach suite instead.
