The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) successfully conducted the maiden flight test of the indigenous 'Kusha' Long-Range Surface-to-Air Missile (LR-SAM), designed to intercept high-speed, high-altitude targets at ranges up to 350–400 km. This Project Kusha initiative aims to strengthen India's indigenous, multi-layered air defense capabilities against enemy aircraft and missiles.
